Adria Airways, Slovenia's national carrier, began in 1961 as a charter airline. In the 1980's the airline started offering scheduled route service and became a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
Adria operates three Airbus A320s in its fleet for charter and scheduled service.
The Airbus A320 is a twin-engine narrow-body jet used for short and medium-haul routes. Typically seating of the A320 is 150 passengers in two classes with a range of up to 5,700 km/3,050 nm.
